Description

There are many dangers involved when handling and storing flammable liquids in the workplace and when these dangers are underestimated fatal incidences can occur.

In South Africa a fire safety cabinet standard – SANS 54470-1 was published outlining the minimum requirements for a fire safety storage cabinet.
Fire safety storage cabinets supplied by Lasec meets this standard.
Provides up to 90 minutes of protection in the event of a fire.
This is the highest level of protection available in the market.
The double door upright fire resistant cabinets are extremely robust with scratch-proof surface.

A bottom collecting sump that collects any spills and can be used as storage level in conjunction with a perforated insert.

The inner layer consists of melamine coated wood plates highly resistant against vapours of solvents. There are further layers composed of insulation mineral plates (Calcium Sulphate) which release steam when exposed to a heating source.
Special intumescent seal protection strips seal all the gaps between the door and frame when exposed to fire.
The third layer is made of sheet steel to protect the mineral plates which protects against damage from the outside.
